Electrical Hazards on Sites

AVOID electrical hazards on sites by observing the following safety rules:

• Always use insulated tools.
• Never touch metal or water in contact with electricity.
• Never use makeshift wiring.
• Never stand on any rail.
• Always cut off the supply before maintaining machines.
• Never make repairs to electrical equipment unless you are competent to do so.
